Viewing Parties for the National Remembrance of the 100th Anniversary of the Chinese Exclusion Act
2023 marks the 100th anniversary of the Chinese Immigration Act, better known as the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1923. For decades, this act restricted virtually all Chinese immigration to Canada. Although the Act was repealed in 1947, its impact has spanned generations and continues to impact Chinese Canadians today. Join Action! Chinese Canadians Together (ACCT) to organize a viewing party of the National Remembrance of the 100th Anniversary of the Chinese Exclusion Act event!
